Costume timee ^-^

In Limburg (a region in the Netherlands) 11/11 is a date on which people get dressed up as weird as possible an go out. (It's like carnaval, but just 1 day)
I saw so many people dressed up like cats, panthers, tigers & lions!
Why only dress up for a holiday?
I made a more wearable version, 100% party proof ;)

Classy phone case

Here's another phone case, also done with a paint marker. Take a nice quote, a simple phone case, a paint marker and voilá!
I'd love to see yours if you have made one ;)

Towel trick

Here's another tutorial about... towels. Sounds weird? Rather practical! I just thought it would be fun to store things a bit differently. The endless wardobes and closets are a bit boring, besides that, you can put this anywhere you want. I hung it on to some ugly pipes.. towels stored, and it looks nice.

Too much work? Or are the towels too thick? Tie it together in stead of using the toilet paper rolls.

Simply happy

Sometimes a quote of a picture can make your day so much better. I like to be reminded sometimes how much happiness can be found in small things, or to be encouraged to keep going.
This is a simple to make tutorial, let me know how it worked out for you! :)

Trainlife

Even when I'm on my way I can't stop myself... I was just too curious to see what it would look like!
I used paint markers for this, they are so easy to use, are water resistant and look great :)

Ps. Funny how people in the train try to follow every single step of you, while trying to look like they don't ;p

Microwave muffins?!

I have to share this with you guys! For all the sad students out there without an oven (or baking skills), there is hope!
All you have to do is stir some milk together with the powder in a cup and place it in de microwave. It'll be done in a few minutes and it's lovely ♡

The greedy kitty

This was totally random. I saw these shiny studs and immediately tought of this crazy kitty.
Fun fact: my boyfriend really likes it...

Stripe a pose

I've been busy with school so I didn't have much time left to post... but as soon as I had some free time, the creative chaos unleashed! I have some new fun projects to show you, and I'll make some simple tutorials as well! This cute pouch is also the first article for my webshop (it'll open soon).
Enjoy!

Old fashioned popcorn

My boyfriend took me to a movie, and while we were waiting -we were way to early- I was observing the popcorn corner...
It made me think of the old fashioned paper popcorn bags with stripes. I got the idea to make a big version, using textile. I adapted the shape to a more practical version (we all know the "where are my keys? This bag seems infinite..." -problem).
And there it is.

Old, Older, Vintage

What do you do if you find some knee-high pair of socks, in a color your granny would even call vintage?
Right! Take some pretty antique-style fabric and make some ribbons! :)

What you can do with Iron wire...

I don't think there is much to explain about this one, right?
Very easy, and original.

(And yes, my hair isn't red/purple anymore)

USA crazy

My best friend went to the USA for 6 weeks (I missed her like crazy!!) And I wanted to give her a little present before she left. I wanted it to be personal and usefull. So I bought a script, collected all magazines wich had articles about the USA in them, and after some cutting and pasting this was the result:

Studying boring...??

Let's kick off the new school year with some colors!! I'll reuse my old organizer for example...
Pimped up your stuff? Send me a pic!

Sweet as sugar...

Hi! Here I am again with a very sweet outfit this time...
Combining an aztec printed top with a cherry printed skirt. Watch out for an overload of prints!
In combination with a DIY ring (very easy to make!) and a pair of pink heels, this is not an outfit for the tough girls I guess ;)

top; vintage, skirt; Vera Moda, heels; Manfield, ring; DIY made of a ribbon & a stud ;)

DIY high-waisted shorts

Hello there, it's been a while!  Time for some new DIY stuff. My mum bought a pair of shorts at Primark, it had a lovely print but a terrible style... so she wouldn't wear it at all. Like I said, the print is very nice though so I just cut the sides off and changed its fit. What do you think? I styled it a bit nerdy here, tourist style ;p

Shirt; H&M, glasses & backpack; market, shoes; Porronet, necklace; handmade from Africa.

Vintage flowers

Another vintage item, with a very typical vintage look. This flower top has a very high neck, but it can still be sexy because it's very tight. This time I created an outfit as sweet as candy -but hey, even flowers can be cool with a pair of jeans and some sneakers.
I bought the green stone neclace on an arabic market in Granada (in case you ever go there, do!), I got the one with the butterfly from my granny.

Anyway, how would you style it?

The boyfriend jeans

I loved this style immediately so I bought myself a pair of boyfriend jeans. Very comfortable, but these were also very dark and plain...= boring!
When doing it, you better do it right. So I took a bottle of bleach and some spray paint, and narrowed the chaps a bit. Add a pair of killer heels (these are from Jeffrey Campbell) and this is the result:

Vintage fantasy

Here's a special vintage piece I'd like to share with you. It has some kind of fantasy-vibe! It has a very low back and flared sleeves, wich somehow made me think of fairies. (does that make me weird? Haha)
How would you wear it?

shirt; (vintage) Miss Sixty, earrings; V&D, skirt; Bershka, shoes; Manfield, socks; Aliexpress.

Comic book shoes!

So I had these ugly shoes in my wardrobe and figured they needed some color! I cut, painted and printed them; what do you think?
I love to combine them with a simple skirt and a red vintage shirt, the beanie and raincoat make this outfit a bit sweeter.
